Dear List,
I expressed my concern over the direction our Country is going as part of remembering the
reason for the season and our Carpenter cousins. I will not apologize for that.
I do have a tendency to be a bit verbose however.
My Carpenter ancestors were Christians who supported their families, community, state
& country. They lived, strived and died living the American dream. Not one of them
were perfect. Many just wanted enough to take care of themselves, their families and a
little bit more. The same for my non-Carpenter ancestors. All wanted something better for
their children. Just as I do.
As we gather together our Carpenter and related family genealogy and share our ancestry
with others, we learn about our heritage. I will never be ashamed of where my family came
from. And I have a mixed bag. If you are interested, send me an email off list.
Remember, History is what History was. Our ancestors were human. They did not live in a
vacuum of non-religion, non-politics and political correctness run amok. They had their
own problems with people and their environment. And one thing I have learned from my
research into my Carpenters is that human nature as not changed in the last couple of
hundred years.
As my Carpenter and related family ancestors fought, and some gave the ultimate price for
protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States, so must I. And I have done
so in the military and in my civilian career. My ancestry since the founding of this
Country is intertwined with the Christian Religion and the Constitution of the United
States of America. It is part of my family history.
I encourage all to share their genealogy (dates & facts) along with their family
history (the stories behind the dates & facts). Not only of their Carpenter Cousins
but of all your ancestors.
Most of them came to North America for a reason. Let us find and pass on that reason to
our relatives and to the next generations to keep the memory alive. Honor your ancestors.
Let us share and help others where we can. Let us teach where we can. Never be afraid of
who or where your ancestors came from. We can learn something from each one if we look
hard enough.
So once again ...
May the New Year provide new hope and blessings from our Creator. And may we be willing to
be tools in His service.
And if you are offended by any of this, send me an email off list. I will be happy to talk
to you about it.

Subject: [CARPENTER] Carpenters - Merry Christmas & a message from JRC
Merry Christmas to all!
As I remember the reason for the season, I reflect on His goodness and mercy.
I reflect this season about the last year, forgiving and setting away the deeds of those
who I need to do.
I remember the sorrow of those who I have lost, knowing I will see them again after it is
my time to pass on.
I am afraid for our Country and the path it is on. This has troubled me greatly. I pray
for those who believe that our God given rights are nothing and that the elites can
promise so much more but deliver so much less. I pray for those who believe that a
collective salvation is more important than any personal Salvation from our Lord God.
I have over the last many decades read diaries, stories and wills of many Carpenters.
Almost all mention, give credit to or reflect the promise of hope in a greater power.
Many also credit the Constitution of the United States of America for the opportunities
they have had and enjoyed. Many were willing to give up almost everything they had for the
promise here in America.
All of our ancestors were immigrants. Most left the corruption of the kings, elites and
state religions for a better life here in America. They did not have to bow down to the
state religion (including the state religion of atheism) or demi-gods or have laws that
change based on the will of a king.
America is not perfect. Our goal is a more perfect Union. We have had our share of
horrors and reconciliation. We have learned and shown tolerance for many things. We can
be what ever we want to be. Why? Because it is We the People, not the individuals, but we
as a team that will triumph over adversity.
Most of us want to live their own lives and raise their families in peace. We hope to have
a better world for our children. We want to practice our religion in peace and security.
For the most part the farther away and less intrusive government, the better.
Our ancestors fought and died for their country, their families and their God. They wanted
to be free from oppression of Nationalist Socialists, Soviet Socialists and the power of
the elite who think their way is always better.
In any society where tolerance is abused by the minorities, where the radical minority try
to enslave the majority in some manner, there is always a correction that involves
violence and hatred.
I pray that we as Carpenters will do our part to protect and defend the Constitution of
the United States. That we might advise those in the minority that the abuses of tolerance
and attempts to destroy the Constitutional rights of the People will fail. When they, the
minority, continue to deny our Constitutional rights and expression there of, there will
be a reckoning.
I hope and pray that the minority will stop their attempts to radically transform the the
United States into a European (at best) or third world type country. We as a people need
to say enough is enough.
We must be firm, polite and to educate them that the destruction of what we hold dear will
not happen. Because if it does, all rules go out the window. And the consequences will be
far more terrible than anyone can imagine.
If you have come this far, bless you. May the peace and blessing of our God, the God of
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, be upon you and your family.
May the New Year provide new hope and blessings from our Creator. And may we be willing to
be tools in His service.
