Irene,
As you mentioned, Gerald Keith "Jerry" Tuttle, Jr. (26 Oct 1957 FL - 23 June
2014 VA) and his wife Debbie Dee Dodd (28 Jun 1959 FL - 14 Mar 2017 VA) are
both now deceased. And I can no longer find his web page. Apparently it was
taken down.
I have no contact with his son by the same name. In 2017 he was in Carlsbad,
NM with his wife Tina. You might look on line to see if you can find him.
The following link may be his:

I looked on
Ancestry.com and
FamilySearch.org, (including Family Trees) but
I did not find anything related to an 1846 court case involving either of
them.
Gerald may have found the record you mentioned during one of his research
trips or paid efforts?
If you send me the image, I might be able to enhance it a little.

Subject: [CARPENTER] Daniel Carpenter of Kentucky
I am a descendant of Daniel Carpenter (1780-1850) of Fleming and Lewis
Co,KY. My brother's kit is 215933 in Group 23. I am trying to find a court
document from 1846 in which Daniel's wife Mildred (Nancy Mildred Carter)
charged him with abandoning her in Fleming Co. and buying a new farm in
Lewis Co. Gerald Tuttle had a copy of it and actually did the best he could
to transcribe it; however, the copy he put online is very difficult to read.
I'd like to find a better copy and also his source. Since he has passed
away, I am not able to ask him but have searched online court records for
Fleming County, where the charges were brought against Daniel. Does anyone
have a copy of the document, or can anyone tell me where to find it so I can
properly site a source?
Thank you--
