Have any of you looked at the Freeman Family Lines? There is
information about Carpenter's as well as my grandparents (many times
removed) John Bigelow and mentioned in his will, his son-in-law and my
grandfather as well - Isaac Learned.

Subject: [CARPENTER] CARPENTERS OF NEW YORK
Hello list,
I descend from William of Rehobeth Carpenters. My line goes William b.
1605 in England, William b. 1631 in MA, Nathaniel b.1667 in MA, Ezra b.
1697 in MA, Greenwood b. 1733 in MA, William b. 1752 in MA, Clement b.
1781 in NH, Guy Carlton b. 1809 in St. Lawrence co, NY., but lived in
Erie Co after his marriage, Charles b. 1830 in Chautauqua co., NY who
married Harriet Palmer (1840-aft 1920). Charles and Harriet lived in
Napoli, Cattaraugus, NY until his death in 1888.
Guy Carlton Carpenter married Priscilla "Polly" Smith b. 1811 in Erie
Co. NY. I just found Polly's parents, Wheeler Branch Smith b. 1777 in
CT and Priscilla Styrtevant b. 1777 in Kent (Now Warren), Litchfield,
CT. Priscilla's parent's name were Paul Styrtevant and Rhoda Lake, but I
don't have any other information on them. I was wondering if anyone
else on the list connects to the Smith, Styrtevant, or Lake families,
and if they would share their information if they do. I have descendent
information to share.
