I'm new here and I'd like to say thank you also even though I haven't gotten
any help to my post here. I'm sure it takes a lot of time to keep an eye on the site
and make sure rules aren't broken and so on. I have friends who do it on other sites
(non genealogy) and know how much they but in to over seeing everything.
i do hope that I do get help with my line from someone othe there in Carpenter land. The
big depate in the family was if our line was English, German or French. All I know is my
Grear Great grandfather was born in NY. I can't even find where he died. I know he was
in KS but after the 1880's I have no record of his or his wife's death. Also I
don't know what happened to 4 of his kids for sure.
