I was so hoping that the responses to the below posting my reveal some data
on another Henry Carpenter, also from New York who represents my brick wall.
Seeing nothing so far, perhaps I can stir the pot again:
Henry Carpenter, b. about 1795 and living in Onondaga Co., New York.
My Henry (maybe Harry?) married Roxana Fay and the Fay family came from
Vermont.
In all of your Henry searches, should you come across a Henry and Roxana Fay
Carpenter, I sure would appreciate hearing about it.

His son Henry Carpenter Jr. served in the Civil War from DeKalb Co.,
Illinois, lived in Iowa & Ohio and died in Lake Co., Ohio.
I also have his Family Bible that I would love to give to a direct
descendant.

Does anyone have any information on Henry B. Carpenter born in NY in 1831?
He married first Ann S. Marshall Neale, second Elizabeth G. Metcalf Miles. I
would like to find out who his parents were and if he had any siblings. He
served in the Civil War for the state of NY and he died in Michigan in 1891.
