Thomas Skinner (1668- ) and Hannah (Carpenter ? ) marriage banns 1695;
Wrentham,Ma.
He also shows a question mark next to Hannahs last name,but shows the Town
of Wrentham as a location.

Thanks, John.
I have another source, cannot put my finger on right now, who
has Hannah Carpenter as well. So, with so many Carpenters in
that area then I wonder WHY they would commit to that family
if not that it was a widow or divorcee? There seems little
doubt from what I read that the Skinner line is fine for about
three generations but that the Carpenter line now seems, as
you write, doubtful if not high suspect. Are there any other
sources I have overlooked?
