On another list, a broader one, we've been discussing other

the discussion I mentioned that there was a group of Slocums who matched my
lines in the 12 marker test. Got an email from one who said that his line
is traced back to a Slocum who returned to England from RI in 1638. I'd
wondered idly about them but now I wonder more........do you know if they
have had more markers tested
The Slocum project web page has apparently not been updated in almost
two years. It might help if you wrote to the co-founder Judy L. Slocum
<jlslocum(a)insightbb.com>. If she doesn't answer, maybe the other
co-founder will: Melville C. Brown <mb237(a)comcast.net>. If neither one
answers, then you could write to your Slocum correspondent and urge him
to volunteer to take charge of the project. There is a low-maintenance
technique for running a project that anyone could manage with essentially
zero effort, and so your correspondent could easily take over the burden,
such as it is. If the two founders have abandoned the project, I'm sure
the testing lab would be happy to turn it over to someone else.
