Hello,
Today is the observed Memorial Day. May 30th is the traditional Memorial Day.

This is a day to remember those whose have served and given the ultimate sacrifice for
Freedom.
Some may confuse Veteran's Day on 11 November - those who served and lived - with
Memorial Day.

Let us take a moment to remember those Carpenters in our ancestry who fought and died for
Freedom.
Let us remember those Carpenters that gave up their mortal existence knowing that Freedom
is not Free, but is paid for with a sacrifice of human lives.
Let your thoughts linger for a moment of those Carpenters that perished during the
Revolutionary War, The War of 1812, The Mexican War of 1848, The Civil War aka The War
between the States, The Spanish American War of 1898, World War I, World War II, Korea,
Vietnam, The Gulf 1 and Gulf 2. And Let us not forget those police actions and all so
forgotten unnamed skirmishes where Americans fought and died.
For those that served and came home, we know but only for the Grace of God that we are
allowed to remember those who did not come home.
