I always heard the more you complain the longer God lets you live, If thats
the case I will never die, LOL , Just kidding, That is great that she lived
that long, I can only imagine the stories she could tell, I sure hope some
one in her family was into Genealogy, What a gold mine she must of had in
history of the family and of all the changes in our Country. Thanks for
sharing.

Subject: [CARPENTER] Arbella Perkins Ewing dies at 114 yrs old
MY COUSIN LEE SENT THIS AND I THOUGHT OTHERS MIGHT WANT TO READ IT
TOO:
ARBELLA PERKINS-EWING WAS 114 YRS OLD.
Mrs. Ewing passed away recently in Dallas, Texas. I don't think any of us
will find her in our family tree but I chose to circulate this anyway. If
you look at the 1900 Census of Freestone County, Texas, on the first line
you will find ARBELLA PERKINS listed as a six-year old female, born in
March 1894. That would make her 114 years old. She was certified as the
third oldest living person in the world. The second oldest still lives in
Indiana and the oldest in Portugal, both are also 114. I wonder if women
live longer because they are better at dealing with the aches and pains of
aging.
