Joyce,
The CE 2009 is a data DVD and not a Compact Disc (CD) like the CE CD 2001.
The CD had a maximum of 650 MB (megabytes) capacity. Ten CDs would be about 6.5 GBs.
The data DVD has a 4.7 GB (gigabyte) capacity.
The CE 2009 data DVD has about 3 GB of information on it.
I chose the data DVD format to keep costs down - think of the cost for 5 CDs.
Most newer computers and laptops come with DVD/CD combo drives. Internal computer DVD
players can be as inexpensive as $18.00 (and the faster combination ones more expensive)
with external DVDs at about $45.00 and up.
I use an external DVD for my older computers. That is when my youngest daughter is not
using it to watch DVD movies on her older laptop!
I hope this helps.

for you
John,
I am not able to open the 2009 CD's. I tried my old 2001 and it fires right up.
When I put the 2009 CD in the E drive or the D Drive, it shows me there is nothing on
either CD - Help
