AMEN!
Over the years, I've learned that 'new and improved' often means NOT
better. The same was true with MyFamily. Now, FamilySearch has joined
the ranks of new and NOT improved.
At least, we're still able to search for FREE. When Family Search
starts charging, I'm going to be 'up a creek without a paddle'
because I've cut my retirement expenses to the 'bare bone' to keep a
roof over my head and food on the table. Next step . . . . . go back
to work. Since HOMEMAKER was my CARREER OF CHOICE, working outside
the home was a nightmare when I was young. Just thinking about it now
is a nightmare!

Hello,
Many people are unhappy with the recent changes to FamilySearch.
New FamilySearch web page
https://www.familysearch.org/
Why change something that was working so well?
The old sites are still there and functional, for now. See:
Old FamilySearch website
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp
Old FamilySearch website direct to search page
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp
RecordSearch Pilot
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start
The above links will eventually be removed. When? Who knows?
The new web sites have problems. The search engine on Beta (IE the
new FS web page) for example stinks. It is far worse than
Ancestry's version. Pilot's search engine is superior to both, but
the new FamilySearch refuses to use it.
I hope this helps.
