Hannah Carpenter b abt 1813 VA she m John Weese 2-5-1833 in Randolph Co VA he was b abt
1811.
There children were
Phebe Weese b abt 1834
Elijah Weese b abt 1836
Lewis Weese b abt 1838
Nimrod Weese b abt 1840
Margaret weese b abt 1842
Marten Weese b abt 1845
Catherine Weese b abt 1849

JACOB CARPENTER: Sons-Levi, Conrad, Jacob Jr., Solomon; Daughters--Margaret Skidmore,
Hannah Wease; Others-Heirs of Solomon; Executor: Samuel Elliott; Witnesses: David Holder,
William McLean; Sons only got
$1.00 each and daughters got the farm.
Will Book 1, Page 456-457 Will dated 11-21-1888, Probated 01-20-1889

If you need copies of the wills, you can contact the Barbour County Circuit Clerk's
Office, and for a fee, they can copy them for you. I spoke with them today about some
wills I need, and they say book 1-1/2 is damaged, and there are 2 books marked as Book 1.
I had a fellow researcher working there, and he couldn't find my requests from Book
1-1/2. Hope this helps.
