Thanks, John. I'll check these links out. I once asked my father for advice on finding
out about our Irish ancestors, esp. My 3Great Grandma Carpenter. He said, "That's
easy. You just go to Dublin and ask for Mary O'Connor." He was a big Irish help.
I guess that would also work for my Great Grandma Carpenter, whose father was Mahar and
mother was Murphy.
