Hello List,
I wanted to let you know that the Carpenter Cousins Y-DNA Project has updated its web
pages.
As of January 2016 we have over 355 FTDNA members and about 35 from other DNA testing
companies for over 390 members. We also now have 30 organized groups.
The elusive Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Carpenter line is Group 28. While we have not yet
achieved any genetic triangulation back to Samuel Carpenter the immigrant, we are back to
a common ancestor born in 1721.

If anyone has questions about the Carpenter Cousins Y-DNA Project, please let me know.
I want to thank John F. Chandler and Terry L. Carpenter for all their help over the years.
They are co-group administrators and are invaluable.
I also wish to acknowledge Eugene Zubrinsky for his patience and positive help to so many
people.
Thank you to all of you!
John R. Carpenter
