First of all, I now *know* the Carpenters are goofy! I always suspected
it, but thought it might just be our little branch, but I guess not.
Do all Indians have the concentric circles instead of the swirls? Is this
true of all east Asians? I don't know. However, if it's true of all
Indians, then we can't be in too big a hurry to draw conclusions. There
were many opportunities for Indians and Europeans to share their genes, so
to speak, and perhaps it even comes from some other part of our ancestry.
In my case, there is the possibility of Sioux blood in there, not likely
but possible, regardless of how my pioneer ancestors might have said they
felt about such things. My GGgrandfather first married an Indian woman,
then after her death, married a French woman. Who knows? But I do have
concentric circles.
