I am interested in this because my gggg grandmother, Barbara
Zimmerman/Carpenter and her husband Peter Seitz/Sides, ended up in EBR
Parish. I think some of her relatives also went there. Peter lived from
1752-1813, was a Revolutionary War ensign serving from NC and died in Texas
in the Battle of Medina. Yes, he was in his sixties. I believe Barbara
survived him but I don't have any dates for her.
Thanks,
Martha

Dear Follow Researchers,
In the 1850 East Baton Rouge Parish Census Rebecca Street is in the
household of Philip Carpenter. In the 1860,1870 and 1880 census EBRP,
she is in the household of Philip's brother Josiah (Joseph in some
census). Can anyone tell me what her relationship to the Carpenters is?
Thanks.
