help appreciated.
1. Augustus "Gus" (1830-MS/AL) & Sarah (1830-NC/AL) Carpenter in the 1860
Upshur & 1870 Titus census with:
a.) Henry 1853 TX :MS:NC *This Henry never shown with middle
initial. Always shown born 1853.
a.) Charles 1858 TX :MS:NC *This Charles never shown with middle
initial. Always shown born 1858.
2. Z. (1805-GA) & Susan (1820-NC) Carpenter in the 1860 & 1870 & 1880

WHAT IS PUZZLING is that Henry (b. son of Z) always used the initial A but
he was only 3 mos old in the 1860 census taken in July which makes him born
Apr "1860."
The cemetery Henry shows born Apr "1853." HOWEVER .. the obit states Henry
was 72 yrs old at death and died 1932 which makes him born "1860."
HAS ANYONE SEEN THE TOMBSTONE?
It looks to me like this Henry buried in New Hope is the son of Z. & Susan
Carpenter of Harrison Co who moved to Camp Co on his 20s.
Anyone have any info??

CHARLES T/F (listed as C.T.) is found living next door to the Henry who
married Eloise Redus in 1910 Camp Co which is another reason I think the one
in the grave yard is the son of Z & Susan. The son of Z & Susan always used
the middle initial. In later years, Charles' wife Julie (Blackburn) is
living next to Henry "A" Carpenter.
Any clarity helpful, thanks,
