Obviously my correction and apology was not sufficient to cover
the error of my ways.
I am, apparently, not sufficiently intelligent to comprehend the
niceties of the following, so will let Gene speak for himself.
Evidently posting the location of records from on-line sources
taken from Arnold, eg Rehoboth VR 1:95 is not as accurate as
citing from the original records. I should have known that.
I will leave it to you Carpenter listers to sort this out.
Again, my apologies to you all and to Eugene Cole Zubrinksy for
improperly citing my remarks.

Sharilyn,
<< I could, in fact, not see why you would think from what I
wrote, that your footnote (38) was involved. >>
It's involved because (1) the probate record it cites is what
really establishes that the Abigail Titus who married Jonah
Palmer Sr.
was John Titus Sr.'s widow, and (2) it points out that Rehoboth
VR, 1:163, is a correction of Arnold's reference to 1:95
(whereas
footnote 66 cites 1:163 without explanation).

I know. As with all the items with this heading and format that
you periodically copy and paste into a message, this is taken
directly from Arnold (which I thought you knew--the heading is
the complete title). As above, the page number is wrong. Many
pages in this part of Rehoboth VR, Vol. 1, were rearranged when
it was restored and rebound. This occurred after Arnold's
volume
was published and before the original records were filmed. As
I've said previously, Arnold is sufficiently unreliable in both
content
and page references that I use it only as an index to the
original records. When it comes to the relocated pages, I know
approximately how many pages Arnold is off, and I compensate
accordingly.
