What a coincidence that Pierre also speaks of Melun in the fourth book of
a history of the Holy Land. It sounds to me as if there may be only one
monk known perhaps by two different names.

Book 4, wrote that the house of Melun came from royal origins*. He
gathered** "titles and monuments" of that great house, intended for a
genealogical history more complete than could be given here. The first
