at one time I communicated with either a daughter or a granddaughter to get permission to
make copies of the book, which was forthcoming but no longer have a name or address for
that..........would be interested in any updates done to the book by anyone.......I've
made quite a few copies over the years for cousins and for a few libraries...........

I've recently been browsing the book *Carpenter, Charles Lorain, The
descendants of Timothy Carpenter of Pittstown, Rensselaer Co., New York
Machias, Me.: News-Journal, 1976, 198 pgs*. (
http://bit.ly/ZUxW0O) and was
wondering if there are any updates that have been made since the original
publication in 1976? The author, Charles Carpenter, originally inherited
the information from his father, but it is unknown (to me anyway) if he in
turn passed along the reins to an offspring.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
