Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I had wondered if he had any connection to the Rehoboth line, but evidently
not. I live twenty minutes away from Lincoln County. One of my aunts heard
the name on the news and immediately called me.

Keith Stephens, spokesman for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has confirmed that Sheriff Cody Carpenter of the Scott County Sheriff Department died during the overnight flash flooding that swept through western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma
Sheriff Carpenter and Conservation Officer Joel Campora were in a boat checking on residents in the Y City area when the Fourche La Fave river level abruptly rose from 2 feet to 26 feet swamping the boat and sweeping both officers away. Conservation Officer Campora is still missing and presumed deceased also.
Arkansas State Police Lt. Col. Keith Moore reported that the Arkansas National Guard was called in due to the massive storm damage and multiple missing persons. A National Guard Blackhawk helicopter from Robinson Air Force base assisted in the recovery of Sheriff Carpenter’s body. The search continues for Conservation Officer Campora.
