Who is this Richard Carpenter? Were Davis and Craddock in NJ?
What does assignment mean?

Hi John,
I also think this is my line of Carpenters. I believe that my great
grandfather John W. Carpenter b1866-1867 IN. The son of William A. b1846 IN.
William's father being Rufus. I found William A. Carpenter with wife Melvina on the
1880 Ottumwa, Wapello, Iowa census with children John W. b 1867 IN, Nora
(Nona) b 1869 Iowa and David b1873. In 1900 John W. was married to Ida (Addie) and
living with their children in Neosho CO. Erie, KA., where all four of their
children were born.
I would very much like to find someone related to my line. My mother and
her siblings have never met any of the Carpenters other than my grandmother's
sister Vera. To reiterate my grandmother and her siblings were separated
after their mother's death between 1815-1820. Vera and my grandmother found each
other in the mid 60s, I only met Vera once when I was real young and can't
remember to much about her. I don't think they ever found their other two
siblings.

Pearl my grandmother, and Vera found each other sometime in the early 1960s,
while living in CA. To my knowledge they were never reunited with their
other siblings. My family lost contact with Vera after my grandmother passed
away. I was to small to remember anything else about my family, other than what
my grandmother told me about her father being hit by a train. I do not know
where or when this accident happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to announce that David Roberts has added Marriages to his Deaths as
reported by the Long Islander newspaper information on the Long Island
genealogy site. I know David computer is not working this week or he would be able
to announce it himself but I would like to thank him for all of this work that
he has given to everyone free and on-line.

LOOKING FOR DOCUMENTATION:
Does anyone have copy of this will? If so, does it list his kids? Is there
any "proof" of this Thomas's parents?
I have seen numerous online trees including the Thomas of Botetart which
some indicate he may have been this
Thomas.
Thanks,
