Well, the parish and cemetery name are Annunciation, not Assumption. Lost Lake is merely
a crossroads along U.S. Highway 73 that runs north and south along the eastern border of
Columbia County and the western edge of Dodge County. The church in Lost Lake is no
longer used for services and has been purchased by a local preservation group, newly
formed for the purpose. I think it is called the Lost Lake Historical Society.
Parish records, I believe, are kept at the Fox Lake, Dodge County branch of the parish,
where Rev. Father Michael Wilde is the pastor.
As to who is buried in the cemetery at Lost Lake, I am as informed as well as anyone, I
suppose, having canvassed the cemetery and made an index of tombstone inscriptions. Two
sets of my great great grandparents are buried there.
There seems to be no record of Sabina Carlin's burial at Lost Lake. CARLINs I have
found there are:

I'm curious to know where this Bernard Carlin, Sr. fits into the family - his 1961
obituary says he was a son of "Mr. and Mrs. Michael Carlin," and born in the
Town of Fountain Prairie, which is in Columbia County. Michael and his wife were much too
old to be having children in 1889, when Bernard Sr. was born.
