Greetings! ListMom here.
Being the ListMom, I get notified every time list mail bounces from list members'
e-mail addresses. Sometimes it's because there's a temporary glitch somewhere on
the Internet; sometimes it's because someone's account is no longer there, for
whatever reason; sometimes it's because a mailbox is full...
After 4 bounces, that's it: that account is automatically unsubscribed. If it looks
like the problem causing the bounces is not with the user, I'll send e-mail to see if
I can figure it out before the automatic termination; if the bounces are because of a full
mailbox, then e-mail from me will bounce, too (so I won't be very much help...).
Please help me help you: keep after your e-mail boxes. If you're going out of town, or
are otherwise going to be away from the computer, you might want to temporarily
unsubscribe; unfortunately, there isn't a "nomail" setting in the list
software used here at RootsWeb (and resubscribe when things settle down, of course
;-). E-mail me if you have any questions, <carolan-admin(a)rootsweb.com>.
Thanks for listening; now back to our regularly-scheduled programming...
