Does anyone have this family in their family tree:
John Carney, b. Ireland and lived in Boston, he was married to Margaret
O'Brien or Margaret Price, b. Ireland. They had a daughter Catherine
Carney born in Mass. about 1868-1870. Catherine was married in NYC in
1896, she died in 1936.

I had some Carney relatives in Boston around same time as your John Carney. They also had
some sort of New York connection. My Edward Carney had at least two brothers, Patrick and
Michael, and may have had other siblings. They came from Ireland somewhere around the
1850's. They seem to have come into New York, but fairly quickly moved to Boston, so
they may have had relatives there (that's just my guess at they had family there.) I
don't know if any of this info will help.
