Hi,
Some of my Carney family came to Michigan from Erie Co. NY and settled in
Monroe Co.around 1860 - 1870.
The children of Clement Carney & Sally (Sarah) Smith Carney were: Leonard
b. abt. 1828, Hannah b. abt. 1828; Sally Maria (my 3rd Great Grandmother);
Benono (Barney) b.Oct. 31, 1831; Andrew b. abt. 1835 d. Civil War; Mason b.
1836, d. Civil War, Rosantha b. abt. 1838 ;Eliza A. b. abt. 1841; George W.
b. abt. 1849, d. Civil War. I believe all were born in NY.
Any of these names ring any bells for you?

Hi, I'm searching for any Carney family members that came from Monroe Co.
Michigan. Samuel and Charlotte were my gr-gr-gr-grandparents. They had
several children James, Nelson, Lafayette,Ida, Samuel Jr.,Edward. I'm just
starting the research on this side of my family and have copies of several
Obits. Am interested in finding the living generations to share with.
