I'm looking for my great-grandmother's family. She was Sarah Ella Carney born 1865, died 1931. She was living in Doe Run, Pennsylvania when she married my great-grandfather, Howard Preston. I have gotten nowhere for two years. Please help. Ellen
Are there any connections between the Lawrence County Carney's and the Clarke County, Mississippi Carney's. I'm from California and don't know how close these two counties are to each other. My grandfather lived for many years in Quitman, Miss. and I've been told many of his siblings lived in that area also. Any help would be appreciated.
His name was Walter Carney b. 1886 in Choctaw Alab. and his father was John Carney.

Looking for information on Annie Carney Bell. She died in 1925 in Eureka, Calif. Married Biscoe Christopher Bell. She might have been born and raised in Va or NC. Family may have owned a plantation. After she married Biscoe, they lived in Mullins, SC before moving to Calif. Any information would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Rebecca Riddle
Calvin Carney b. 1837 served in Civil War. He and his family lived in North Carolina. He was definitely related to Indians (I think through his mother but that's just a guess). My great uncle, Clynn Carney/Korney took my uncle to meet them in the early 1950's. What is the name of this family?? Please email me: autumnwynd82(a)hotmail.com thanks
