John Carney b. 29 Jan 1919
d. 04 May 1970 Glasgow, Barren County, Kentucky.
Lester Carney b. 27 Nov 1904
d. 16 Apr 1978 Cave City, Barren County, Kentucky.
John and Lester Carney were probably brothers, and were either the cousins
or nephews of James H. Carney b. June 24, 1885 d. Oct 27, 1957 Nashville,
Davidson County, Tennessee. James married Earnest Carter b. 5 Apr 1885 d. 24
Sept 1977 Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama. James and Earnest had 9
children and apparently these two men (John and Lester) came down to
Nashville, and took the kids up to the caves in Cave City, Kentucky.
Searching for any information on family, parents, other siblings, children,
etc. Thanks in advance!
Hoping to never stop finding new family members.

Kathy,
I'm not sure if Willis Gerstle was named after anyone or not. I do know
that most of the kids were named after the man that James Carney worked for,
and also the doctor and his wife. My grandmother is Mary Gladys, so I will
try to find out from her if Gerstle was named after anyone.

I am searching for information on a Charles Carney not much is known. Middle name may have been Irving. Spouse was Jennie B. Robinson. They had their 1st child in 1897. Their geographic location is unknown until the birth of their 7th child in 1907 in North Dakota (who was my father-in-law). There is no living relative to gather info from and whatever anyone could provide would be much appreciated.

I am searching for information on a Charles Carney - only information known
is that he married a Jennie B. Robinson and had their 1st child in 1897.
By the time they had their 7th child in 1907, they were living in North
Dakota. No other info is known, but if this ties into info you find on
the Charles you mentioned, please let me know. Thanks.
