Hello!
Do any of you have the last name of Karns? My grandmother's name was Fannie Mae
Karns Gray. When my aunt, Helen Gray Snyder passed away last Christmas, I was given a copy
of a picture she had had for many years of a drawing of the Karns' family tree that
goes back to Amsterdam, Holland with the originating names of Adams/ Karns about 1750. Are
there possibly any members of this large family out there? I will gladly share with some
of my possibly distant cousins a copy of this tree. It is quite large (about 24" x
36") and it is a pencil drawing. Fannie's father was George Karns married to
Elizabeth Guy, who lived mostly in Va. and Ohio. Would love to trade information with
relatives to fill in last names of Karns daughters/ husbands. All people on the tree are
first names with first names of children, also. It was drawn in 1940-1941 as my siblings
who were born in 1942 onward are not listed on the tree but my brother born in 1940 is
listed. There are MANY names on the tr!
ee. If this sounds like you might be in the clan, please let me know. Would love to fill
in some of the blanks.
