Hello Michelle:
My Carnes family in Georgia has similar names. Where were your Carnes
in 1800's?

Subject: [CARNES] Thomas A. Carnes
I am looking for my line of carnes that is apparently a bit elusive. MY
grandfather is William Thomas Carnes b. 1921. My great-grandad is Jacob
Lonzo "Lonnie" Carnes who Married Mary E. Smith in 12-24-1905.
Lonnie's
dad is Thomas A. Carnes b.1862 who married Mary Morris b. 1860. Well
folks
that is where it stops for me. I am not the greatest at researching but
I
am no dummy either and I tell ya I am about to put in big bold letter on
this side of the tree "GYPSIES". These folks moved around a good deal
of
the time and my family has no memory of them that is all that useful.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
Many thanks in advance
Michelle Clay
