Hello, I had birth records and photos, Family members have helped me in my search and have
seen old family bibles from family that are no longer with us. I will not go online and
get information I go by family that has helped me in my search and my native blood line
has came by word of mouth of my father. Bless him. I dont know if this is what you wanted
to hear or not but your email confussed me. SO if this is not the information you wanted
to know please let me know. Thanks
May the Great Spirit walk with You.

In all fairness, most people are just trying to research their own family trees, and
it's the software and services they are using that are posting their results to the
web and even re-selling them. Of course that that is the nature of anonymous
collaborative work--gems get unearthed but only after digging through lots of junk.
I'd like to see a standard developed in genealogy for confidence level. Does that
connection on the web come from first-hand knowledge, family lore, verified records, best
guess, wild guess, or is it just a placeholder that somebody made while researching a
tree? Is that part of the tree an up-to-date finished product or a work-in-progress?
When looking at someone's tree on the web that some company decided to publish right
at that moment, WE HAVE NO IDEA.

This garbage is taking up cyber space. If you are a serious
CARNES/KERNS researcher from NC to SC to GA, etc., I'll be happy to help
you.
