Doesn't exactly help--no Davids or Hughs in any of the children, but sometimes things
help later.
You are right not to completely trust internet.
Good luck with it.

I don't know anything about this line, but would be interested if you do
find out anything about parents and grandparents of Henry Carnes b 1784
Maryland.
My 5X great grandfather was John Carnes b. 1735 [somewhere] d 1801
Mendham, Morris County, New Jersey. I keep looking for clues about where he
came from. (He married Penelope Coleman March 21, 1755. She was born
Southold, Long Island, but I am very sure he was not.)

Started researching my line when I was 18. I was adopted when I was young

name. Hope doing this will help me find answers. I had a Jone Brown Eagle

was Native american. Shawnee and have found out by other family members that
there is also Cherokee in the family line. Please help me find answers.
