Hi Phil,
Annis is with the family in 1900 but not in 1910. Just a thought as a
possibility -
I have seen other cases for cemetery transcriptions where the numbers are
mis-read - especially those with round tops and bottoms like 3, 6, 8, 9, and 0.
On old, worn tombstones they do seem to look very much alike and sometimes it
is difficult to accurately read them.
Could she have actually died on 22 Aug 1904 instead of 1894.
Take care - Emma

Has anyone visited the above cemetery? I have a listing for the
Carnahan burials in that cemetery, published in the Carnahan
Newsletters, v13, #1, pg5. This list includes an Annis Carnahan,
daughter of S. L. & M.A. Carnahan, born 3 Jul 1894, died 22
Aug 1894.
Problem is I find that Annis with the exact birthdate as above is
listed in the 1900 census with her parents and a younger sister,
Emma born 11 Apr 1896.
