Norman, I have researched my family tree, have gone to the court houses and
read the original documents, I have not taken anything for granted and
discovered the problem in 1982--since then I have discovered problems with
the military papers and the Daughters of the American revolution, no one has
attemped to correct any of the problems but my information is documented
because I did not assume all was true, I had to know for sure. I,ll leave
it at that. Bob Carnahan

I believe that at one time someone posted to the archives in Salt Lake
and used a
mix of John Aaron and John Franklin data to create a genealogical
family tree and since then many people have found the mistake but you can't
get those records changed and the records there are generally taken as the
last say so others who come along behind are lead down the same wrong way.
As I said before--I have lost contact with the Bob Carnahan in Mt.
Juliot,
Tn. and I will try to reestablish contact for you. He may have your
answers.
I am concerned that I have not heard from him with all this that is now
going on about Andrew because I feel that he would see these querys and
respond.
