Dear Phil,
Thanks for your reply.
I had hoped someone had more info.
Naturally I wanted a notarized Bible record.
Thanks for the 1860 census ref. I did not have that.
From records of Mt. Comfort Cem.
Adam & Rebecca had:
Sarah E. who died 3 Nov 1840, age 8 mos.
Arilday J. [no date]
James M. who died 3 Feb 1846 age 11 mos, 23 das.
[Perhaps Rebecca died in childbirth when this child was born?]

Hi Peggy,
Information I have in my database shows that Adam CARNAHAN
b. abt 1801.02 in KY., d. 1871 in Washington Co., AR. was married
twice.
My records indicate his first marriage was to Rebecca LANDER in
Christian Co., KY. on 10 May 1829. His second marriage was to
Lucy WALKER in Washington Co., KY. on 17 Jun 1846.
I show the following children for Adam.
Benjamin b. abt 1834/35 in Washington Co., AR.
Newton b. abt 1841/42 in AR.
David b. abr 1847/48 in AR.
John b. Jan 1849 in AR.
Martha b. abt 1851/52 in AR.
Using the marriage dates for Adams two marriages, that would put
Benjamin and Newton with his first wife Rebecca and David, John
and Martha with his second wife Lucy.
Newton, David, John and Martha were enumerated with Adam and
his (2) wife Lucy on the 1860 census at Prarie Twp., Washington
Co., AR. Benjamin was already married by the time of the 1860
census and was with his wife and two children in Mars Hill,
Washington Co., AR.
There may be other children that I don't know about. The above data
was compiled from information found in The Carnahan Newsletters
published by Linda Nelson.
