Hi Ruth - My Carnahan line runs through James Carnahan whose brother John
was killed at the blockhouse in Westmoreland County - if you have heard that
story. Capt. James was from Armstrong, Westmoreland (now Indiana Co.)
Pennsylvania as is my Simpson line.
I didn't think we connected until you got to the last line. I have seen the
information on Alexander Carnahan and Elizabeth Tomb - but I didn't know
that he was the son of James Carnahan who married Hannah Powers. Do you
have an exact reference for that? If that's the case - then we are
related - through more than one line, too! Linda
