Hi Charolette,
Have looked at that 1880 census image several times. It is really hard to
read but here is what I come up with:
Carnahan, G. W. = George Washington
N. I. - = Nancy
N. J. - 15 - daug = Francis I guess but she is Nancy in all later census
records
S.M.R. A. - 12 - daug = Sarah
J.B.D.S. - 9 - son =
D. C. - 8 - son = Dillard
G. W. - 5 - son = George Washington
J. W. - 4 - son = Josh
M. A. - 2 - daug = Matilda A.
name field blank - 2/12 - son =
So we don't know who that J.B.D.S is.
The only folks above that I have anything on are Nancy (Frances) and George
Washington.
How about you???
Take care - Emma
