Emma,
Do we have a direct descendant out there from this line. There must be a
number of them in Oregon.

Subject: [CARNAHAN-L] Frank Carnahan - s/o Robert Newton Carnahan & Sarah E.
Uowlen
Good Evening,
More questions on the Hiram Carnahan family.
Hiram Carnahan - 22 July 1820 Tn - d. 25 Jan 1896
md
Mary Ellen Morrison
Hiram and Mary Ellen's oldest child was Robert Newton Carnahan who married
Sarah E. Uowlen.
Robert Newton Carnahan and Sarah had a son named Frank Carnahan b. abt
1881
in Oregon.
In trying to find census records for Frank I found the following:
1920 - Census - Fall River Ward #7, Bristol Co., Mass - ED #82 - pg. 14B -
171/295
Carnahan, Mara - lodger - 21 - md - Mass-France-France
Carnhan, Frank - lodger - 38 - md - Oregon-Oregon-Oregon - laborer wood
working
These two folks are both listed as lodgers in the same household. Mara
is
listed first and then there is one entry between her entry and the entry
for
Frank.
But.... I also found this
1920 - Census - Boston Ward 20, Suffolk Co., Mass - ED #491 - pg. 1A -
6/6
Carnahan, Frank - head - 39 - md - Ore-Ore-Ore - superintendent in piano
factory
Lotta - wife - 37 - md - Canada-Canada-Canada
Frank W. - son - 5 - s - Mass-Ore-Canada
Barrie, Robert - stepson - 18 - s - Mass-Canada-Canada - assembler piano
factory
Belyea, Amelia B. - mother-in-law - 63 - wd - Canada-Canada-Canada
Ok.... which is the correct Frank for Robert Newton's son and who is the
other Frank....<g>.
Take care - Emma
