grandson of James Newton Carnahan and the great grandson of John Carnahan &
Margaret England.

LYDIA AGATHA FERN CARNAHAN
Lydia Agatha Fern Carnahan, 93, of Waldron, died Sunday, March
7, 1999 in her home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Packsaddle
Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anderson Carnahan and two
sons, Richard and Sammie Carnahan.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 11 in
Packsaddle Church with burial at Freedom Cemetery near Waldron.
Survivors include four daughters: Rosa Lee Brundeen, of Greenwood,
Ruth Bridges, of Austin, Ruby Mitts, of Waldron and Elva May Winters,
of Pocola, Okla; four sons, Walter Carnahan, of Dinuba, Calif., Joseph
Adolph Carnahan, of Waldron, Alvin Carnahan, of Waldron, and Donald
Carnahan, of Russellville; one sister-in-law, Minnie Jones, of Waldron;
one special daughter-in-law, Marie Carnahan, of Waldron; several nieces
and nephews, 32 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 10 great-great
grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Gary Carnahan, John Clift, Allen Carnahan, Darrell
Mitts, Rick Bridges and Billy Carnahan. Honorary pallbearers are her
grandsons.
Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
