Hi Joann

David died 10 June 1908 in Terre Haute, Vigo Co., IN
An obituary was published in the Carnahan Newsletters, v3 #1 pg6.

David Carnahan, A tree trimmer, fell from the top of a tall oak and died instantly on
Wednesday, June 10, in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was a native of Paris. Enlisted 26 March
1898 in the Spanish American War and has lived since his discharge in Terre Haute. He was
about 46. He is survived by his widow and three brothers: Charles and Wesley of Paris; his
mother of Terre Haute and Abner of Terre Haute.
You can find a copy of his death certificate listed at:
City Health Office Terre Haute, IN
Book CH-49, Page 40
According to the 1900 census and another Indiana death I've found, this couple had a
total of 6 children, but only Lillie survived. I have no idea what happened to her.
I can send you a family group sheet containing the information I have collected on this
family if you'll contact me off the board.
