Does anyone have any further information on Thomas Carnahan, the son of
Andrew Carnahan of Tennessee? I'd like to resolve who he married, what
happened to him, and when he died.

THOMAS CARNAHAN born August 18, 1790, Davidson Co., Tn.
One source says he married Martha Woodward.
1817. Thomas was mentioned as an heir to the estate of James Billingsley
through his mother Elizabeth in 1817.
1820. On Limestone County, Al. census.
Land record:
1822. Thomas Carnahan assignee of John C. Mclemore, grant No. 17959, 10
acres, dist. 1, Rutherford Co., Tn., waters of Cripple Creek, East Fork
of Stones River. September 2, 1822.
1826. Thomas, living in Stewart County, Tn., sold his interest in his
father's estate to John T. BaileyD72. No land deeds found in Stewart
County for Thomas Carnahan.
1848. Rutherford County, Wills, Inventory Settlements Vol. 14, p 300-
301: A Settlement made with John W. Conli, Exer. of Andrew Carnahan,
dec'd by me Robert S. Morris, Clerk of Rutherford County Court I find
that there was in his hands on the 30 April 1845 belonging to Thomas
Carnahan one of the Legatees of said Andrew Carnahan decd.

Credit executors as follows to wit: for appo Wm M. Ferrin against said
Thomas Carnahan with interest $13.62

This goes through Oct, 9, 1857 in vol. 19, p 31 amt of $524.23 and
still not settled.
