If you don't mind, could you send me some info on this line? This
is a line
I hadn't come across yet. I'm a descendant of Thomas Carnahan and although
he was born a lot earlier (about 1780) I'm researching any and all
possibilities of connections. I'm stuck on him - I know he was married to a
Hannah something, but have no info on parents, inlaws or siblings. I'm
trying to approach it from all angles
Although Thomas does not seem to be in my direct line, I have a little
history on a Thomas Carnahan, born about 1789. I have nothing more recent,
that is, I only go backwards in time. My information is, at best sketchy but
goes back to his father, Andrew (b.11 Jun 1762 in Rutherford, Davidson, TN -
d. 1839) and his grandfather Hugh (b. abt 1730 in Aberdeen, Scotland, d. 1781
in Baltimore, MD).
Thomas' mother was Elizabeth Billingsley and his grandmother was Mary Finley.
I show that Thomas had 3 brothers and two sisters.
If this is interesting, let me know and I'll give you everything I have but I
must confess that I have no documentation on this family.
