Beneficiaries Named Under Carnahan Will
Ottawa -- Mrs Lillie Cahill, wife of B. M. Cahill, village marshal, was chief beneficiary
under the provisions of the will of Mrs. Jane Carnahan, probated Tuesday in court.
For ten years Mrs. Cahill cared for Mrs. Carnahan, who occupied quarters in an apartment
adjoining that of the Cahill family on W. Main St. Mrs. Cahill gave her the same care as
she would a mother, according to J. P. Leasure, who was Mrs. Carnahan's legal
counsel.
Mrs. Cahill is to have the W. Main St. residence where the Cahill family and Mrs. Carnahan
resided. Some time ago Mrs. Carnahan deeded another property to Mrs. Cahill. This is
located in Ottawa.
Leasure, for his legal services rendered during her life, was given the brick block
occupied by the Doepker tin shop. Mrs. Cahill is to have all the household goods and
personal effects, the will says. She must pay all debts and personal expenses.
