MRS. MINNIE D. CARNAHAN, 92, widow of Delmer Baird Carnahan, of 340 Grandview Ave.,
Indiana, died Thursday, July 9, 1970, in the Indiana Hospital.
A daughter of John and Winona Morrison Wagner, she was born March 25, 1878, in Washington
Twp., Indiana County.
Mrs. Carnahan had lived her entire life in Washington Twp. until coming to Indiana 33
years ago.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and its Ladies Aid Society and Barbor Bible
Class.
Surviving are a son, Clarence, Detroit, Mich.; four daughters: Mrs. Ernest (Lorna)
Stafford, Rochester, N.Y.; Mrs. Clyde (Ocie Belle) Boring, Indiana; Mrs. Earl (Mildred)
Boyer, and Mrs. Edmund (Zelda) Harma, both of Detroit, Mich.; a sister Mrs. Mary Ellen
(Nellie) Downey, Creekside RD; 56 grandchildren, one of whom, Jack Nichols, was reared by
his grandmother; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
Friends are being received today from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana,
where the Rev. Raymond Rockwell will conduct services Saturday at 3 p.m. Interment will be
made in the Oakland Cemetery.
