Well,
I went up to the cemetery today and took quite a few pictures - I went to your website,
and I think most of the ones I took are already on there. It was pretty chilly up there so
I didn't stay long (I know - I'm from Alaska and I was cold!!) Haha. Anyway,
Mildred Carnahan McClelland is one I took that I don't think you have already so as
soon as I figure out how to download the pictures from my dad's camera (I didn't
haul mine this trip in!) I'll e-mail them to both you and Susan. We haven't gotten
ahold of the gentleman yet with the cemetery records - I'm really curious about
Margaret. I did see both her husband's stones - they're almost right next to each
other, with almost a grave-sized space in between. For some reason the name Margaret seems
so familiar to me - almost like I can picture the stone but I can't for the life of me
remember why it seems familiar. I wish my Grandmother were still here! It almost seems
like it would make sense that if both of them were bur!
ied there, she would be also - and if they were so close together it seems like there
would be a whole plot there, but as soon as we get in touch with this gentleman I'll
hopefully have the answer. I'll see if he can also identify the names/locations of
those in unmarked graves up there. I think I remember my grandfather telling me there were
several on the side of the road with no headstones, but I was so young I could have been
mistaken. Dawn may be able to shed some light on that!
