Hi Everyone,
I am new to this list. I am trying to find information on Thelma
CARNAHAN. All I have is that she married Edmond T. SAGE (b 1904 d Dec 3,
1946). Thelma died Nov 17, 1943. They are both buried in Calvary
Cemetary, Louisville, Ky. Does anyone know of any information on either
Thelma or Edmond? Thank you very much. Lorraine

Hello Emma. I am Ben Carnahan in Coquille, OR. Tucked away in my
miscellaneous files of Carnahan lines other than my own I found some
information that may be of interest to you. The information came from
Pat Carnahan, Bowling Green, KY. I know that Pat moved some years ago
and I haven't a clue as to her present address or whether she is alive or
not.

Noticed the reference to Sarah and Thomas Blair. This Thomas Blair I believe
to be one of the many families that migrated to Logan Co. KY. in that
Presbyterian migration to western Tenn. There were Blairs ans Carnahans in
that train. The archives of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church will have
some info. on these familes. carneyc(a)ipa.net

Hi everyone,
Thought I would put out what I have on Thomas Blair. Sorry it is so little.
Would appreciate any corrections or additions as Thomas Blair married Sarah
Carnahan, sister to my Andrew Carnahan.
Thomas Blair

d. 7 Feb 1841 Newton Co., Mo.
married
abt 1787 to
Sarah Carnahan, daughter of Hugh Carnahan and Mary ????
Sarah Carnahan b. abt 1766. Does anyone know where she died????
children:
John Carnahan Blair 1790
William C. Blair 1791

Notes: on Thomas Blair

A Thomas Blair of Maury Co., Tennessee received a pension for service in the
South Carolina line during the Rev. War. Is this the same Thomas Blair?????
Notes on Sarah Carnahan Blair.....
1781 - Ordered that James Carnahan (alias Doherty), a base born child be
bound to Sarah Carnahan until he arrives at the age of 21 - Guilford Co., NC.
and in
1784 the court finds that James Doherty owes Sarah Carnahan money for support
of child James Carnahan (alias Doherty) - Guilford Co., NC
I think this means that Sarah Carnahan had a child by James Doherty before
she married Thomas Blair. Does anyone have any information on this child and
what happened to him.
Take care everyone -- Emma
