Subject: [CARMICHAEL-L] Ann Stewart Carmichael
My gg Grandmother ANN STEWART CARMICHAEL was christened on 22 April
1846
at Kilfininchen and Kilvickeon, Argyll, Scotland. I believe this was on
the Isle of Mull. Her parents were ALEXANDER CARMICHAEL and MARY
MCDUGALL. I think she had a brother Allan. This is all I know. Is anyone
researching this line??? I have been unable to find out anything more.
Any help would be very greatly appreciated. Legend has it that A S
Carmichael eas 'entitled' to wear the Royal Stuart tartan - what does
this mean?
