My Carmichaels are from NC also. They married into the PALMER family and
then into the east Tenn. THOMAS family... any connection do you think?

I looked at my 1880 census c.d's and maybe Hubbard isn't a
twin....He is
listed as last one to be born...No Myra listed. Hubbard is listed as age
2.
I had a lot of Carmichaels from N.C. too.
