Dear List & List Owner:
Guess I have reached my "boiling" point...
Often when a subscriber's address book gets compromised by a worm or virus
file, the initial infected particulars do not know
(at least at the onset) of the problem ...
Equally (in the case of a LIST -SERV), it can be hard to fix this type of
problem, especially if the sneaky worm / virus compromise is unknown to all.
Therefore, this post is in regard to the multiple copies of a particular post
which I am receiving every day now for the past several weeks.
it reads as:
" ... my new e-mail address is tmgray(a)kfbol.com ... "
Ya'know,
after the third one received, I suspected that TMGRAY's address book has or
was compromised by a worm eating virus attachment and that it would get
resolved soon enough ... but weeks have passed since then and I still
continue to get these notices!
It is very irritating and I simply would like some assurance or just to know
that this issue is being addressed.
I know better than to use the "reply to" or the even to attempt contact
directed at the new e-address given in order to communicate with this
subscriber, so - if the subscriber cannot answer this post, then will the
list owner please contact me.
I presume that subscriber is either MIA or unaware or does not know what to
do to resolve the problem.
Certainly, I am not the only one getting the repeated postings as well!
Thanks -- hope this gets resolved soon!
