the Close.
1745 29 Sept - Elizabeth dau James John alias Good Ale.....
1746 16th Feb - Mary of Langunnock - bastard
1744 22 Oct - Roger father unknown of Saran bridd
1751 10 Feb - Theophilus son Nathaniel Thomas of Pen yr heol base born.
N.B. The mother of the said child wa a servant also at Pen yr heol, the name
is Mary..
1751 1 Sep- David John and Anne John his sister both servants at Dan y Coed
and of riper years.

Just an insight of what the fee was for a baptism in 1742.....
Meidrim parish church
A bastard child born of Anne thomas of Sarn-bwla not baptized in the
parish church
the fee on that occasion one shilling which was paid the Vicar
of Mydrim by custom by David James of Warr Wenallt on Sunday 17th of
January. NB Robert Howell the reputed father......

Elizabeth dr of John Thomas of Kil y coed, gentleman by Elizabeth his
second wife
was born Aug 30th 1742 and baptized privately (being a weak
child) on September 3rd day. Witnesses present, the father, Mrs Cobner, Mrs
Hughes.. Certified 14th day
